Abstract Paper: Sponsorship
Project Graduation is an all-night affair for the entire senior class, and is entirely alcohol and substance-free.  The party is open to all graduating seniors and 95% of the students typically attend.  Since the beginning of the national Project Graduation program, graduation night deaths have been reduced significantly.  We want to continue to keep our children safe by hosting this wonderful party for our seniors!

As you can imagine, an all night event with food, entertainment, music, bus transportation, prizes and memetos is very expensive.  On average, the event costs $20,000-$25,000 for all of our children to enjoy.  The Project Grad Committee, which is open to all senior parents is responsible for raising these funds and we will now be spending an extensive amount of time and effort to raise the funds to host the event.

This year, in hopes to curtail the requests for continual donations of money and time, and reduce the number of fundraisers, we are hoping to receive direct donations from the parents of our seniors to help cover the cost of the party.  If each parent donated $100, we would have the $20,000 needed to run this wonderful event.  We will, however, happily accept any donations that you can give.  Please make your donation by November 15, 2016 so we can plan fundraisers that may be needed throughout the school year.

Aside from monetary donations, we will need many volunteers to assist with the planning of the event as wel, as any additional fund-raising needed.  If you are able to join the Committee or donate your time, please send your name and e-mail address to Lsmprojectgrad@gmail.com

Thank you for your support in keeping our children safe during their special evening!
